Dallas is buzzing with activity this week, offering a wide array of entertainment options to suit every taste. Theater lovers can experience an all-new production of the iconic, Tony Award-winning musical The Wiz, running from September 16-21 at the Music Hall at Fair Park. The stage is set to be filled with groundbreaking performances that promise to transport audiences down the yellow brick road.

The city's music scene is equally vibrant, with a diverse lineup of concerts hitting venues across Dallas. Hip-hop fans can catch Lil Wayne at the Dos Equis Pavilion on Wednesday, September 17. Meanwhile, punk rock legends the Sex Pistols will be bringing their high-energy show to the Longhorn Ballroom on Tuesday, September 16. Other musical highlights include BunnaB at the House of Blues on Tuesday, Molotov at Toyota Music Factory on Friday, and a special performance by David Duchovny at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall on Sunday. For electronic music enthusiasts, Above & Beyond will be at Dos Equis Pavilion on Saturday, September 20.

Sports fans have plenty to cheer about this weekend as well. The Texas Rangers have a home series against the Miami Marlins at Globe Life Field, with games on Friday, September 19, and a special Sugar Skull Bobblehead giveaway on Saturday, September 20. The Dallas Stars will also be on the ice for a preseason matchup against the St. Louis Blues at the American Airlines Center on Saturday, September 20. The Rangers finish out their weekend series with an Ice Cream Sundays promotion against the Marlins on Sunday, September 21.
